"Rev Ed" and his family

Welcome to Saint Andrew!  We invite you to
come along with us as we seek to follow Christ,
serve one another in love, and engage the
    world, exploring together God's unchanging
truth and transforming grace.  We hope and
pray your journey will, in the words of an old
Celtic prayer, "bring you home rejoicing at the
wonders God has shown you."  Check us out,
    and come see for yourself.

           Yours in Christ,
            Ed Rees, Pastor
                                                                                    What to Expect

Our relatively small  congregation (around 90 or so in Sunday worship each week) is composed of folks from all walks and stages of
life.  We have retirees, empty-nesters, singles, and young families.  We have persons from different economic, ethnic, and religious
backgrounds.  We have people who like to dress up (suits & ties, dresses & hats) and others who like to dress down (shorts &
t-shirts, flip-flops & tattoos).  Some are politically conservative, others are more liberal, and others couldn't care less.  Our focus,
however, is on celebrating what holds us together; our identity in Jesus Christ.  As Paul wrote, "
For as many of you as were
baptized into Christ have put on Christ.  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor
female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
(Galatians 3:27-28)  While keeping a fairly traditional order of service, we sing both
classic hymns as well as newer songs of praise.  Our goal is to glorify God in Christ through worship in a way that is both joyful and
reverent, engaging our hearts and minds as we are led by the Holy Spirit.
